Mechanical Design Engineer

Mechanical Design Engineer - To £50K

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with a keen interest in building services engineering, architecture and environmental design for a consultancy in South London.

The ideal mechanical design engineer will be committed to continued development, and be able to work independently on a variety of complex projects.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct site surveys and verify existing HVAC and public health services.
• Redesign systems based on limited record information and restricted budgets.
• Produce as-built layouts and formalise CAD drawings.
• Perform engineering calculations to aid in system selection.
• Coordinate utilities applications and manage upgrades to existing systems.
• Communicate effectively with project architects and clients to meet changing requirements
• Ensure compliance with engineering practices, CIBSE guidelines, British standards and regulations.
