We re hiring a Design Engineer on behalf of a global engineering client working at the forefront of fuel injection technology. Based in Kent, this role focuses on the design and development of high–precision diesel fuel injection systems used across commercial and industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities :

Design high–pressure fuel injection components and systems

Create 3D CAD models and detailed engineering drawings

Apply DFMEA and GD&T in design reviews

Collaborate with suppliers to ensure DFM and cost–efficiency

Analyse test data to support continuous improvement

Requirements :

Degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering

5 10 years design experience

Strong CAD skills (SolidWorks, NX or CATIA)

Experience with GD&T, DFMEA, and DFM principles

Excellent communication and teamwork skills
