Job Description

• Prepare and analyse management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitor financial performance and provide insights to support business decisions.
• Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes, identifying variances and opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes and reporting.
• Support audits by preparing required documentation and liaising with auditors.
• Manage cost accounting and provide recommendations to optimise expenditures.
• Assist in developing financial strategies to enhance business performance.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Management Accountant should have :

• Qualifications in accounting or finance, such as ACCA, CIMA, or similar.
• Proven experience in financial reporting and management accounts preparation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of accounting software and advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control processes.
• Understanding of the industrial / manufacturing sector is advantageous.
