- To be considered for this role you must be qualified as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a current active NMC Pin
As a Nurse your key duties include :
Be part of a large multi-disciplinary team providing safe and effective care for individuals with complex mental illnessObserve / respond to patient behaviours on the ward which may include self harm and acts of aggressionFormulate risk assessments and care plans to meet individual needsMedication managementAct as shift co-ordinator, allocating staff and having the ability to oversee the work of junior staff and colleaguesMaintain the safety of patients and staffEnsure good quality of patient documentation which meets regulatory guidance and statutory requirementsWork within the NMC Code of Conduct and practice guidelinesThe following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role :
Able to show empathy and warmthAbility to write care plans and carry out observations.To use own initiativeCarry out general nursing tasksHave a positive and can do attitudeThe successful Nurse will be offered an excellent annual salary of £36,291 - £38,716.08 per annum DOE.
