Senior Civil & Structural Engineer (Water Sector)

Location : Manchester (Hybrid Working)

Rate : £50-£55 per hour Ltd (subject to IR35 assessment)

Duration : 12 months +

Hours : 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil & Structural Engineer to join a multi-disciplinary design team delivering major projects within the water sector. The role involves leading and producing civil and structural design deliverables, ensuring technical excellence, and providing guidance to junior engineers.

The successful candidate will be confident liaising directly with clients, contributing to design reviews, and coordinating effectively with BIM and wider engineering teams.

Design & Engineering Delivery

• Produce and verify civil and structural analysis, calculations, reports, and specifications for water-sector infrastructure.
• Develop effective design solutions and communicate these clearly to BIM / Revit teams for accurate model development.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards, legislation, and client requirements.
