Pay : £21.40 / hr (umbrella)

Contract : 26 weeks

We're looking for a hands-on Workshop Floor Manager / Supervisor to lead our busy workshop. You'll support and guide a team of technicians and admin staff, help apprentices grow, and make sure operations run smoothly and safely.

Hours : 08 : 00-16 : 30; then alternating 06 : 00-14 : 30 & 13 : 30-22 : 00, plus 1 × 6-hr Saturday every 4 weeks

What you'll do :

Lead and motivate workshop and bodyshop teams

Plan work, monitor performance, and provide technical guidance

Keep safety, compliance, and efficiency at the forefront

Conduct 1 : 1s, training, and absence reviews

Work with suppliers and stakeholders as neededSkills and Qualifications

HGV / LGV repair & maintenance experience

At least 12 months' supervisory experience in a workshop

Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills

IRTEC or HNC-related qualification (essential) -manufacturer accreditation (desirable)

Comfortable using Tranman or similar systems and MS Office
