Working a Senior Advisory Services Consultant
The
role of the Senior Advisory Services Consultant is to establish and maintain
strategic relationships with key customers, offering expert-level security
consulting services. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will drive cybersecurity
transformation programs, lead complex security engagements, and contribute to
thought leadership within Orange Cyberdefense UK.
This
cross-functional role bridges commercial, technical, and strategic functions to
support the growth and maturity of customer security programs. Consultants work
alongside sales, presales, technical delivery, and operations to shape
engagements that deliver tangible outcomes aligned with customer priorities.
This
position is particularly focused on maturing our consulting presence in
strategic accounts and critical sectors, including Energy, Utilities,
Manufacturing, and Industrial Technology, while emulating best practices.
Key responsibilities :
- Serve as a trusted security advisor to C-level stakeholders and security leadership across key customer accounts.
- Lead and contribute to the development of Orange Cyberdefense UK's Advisory Services strategy and align it with evolving market and customer needs.
- Represent Orange Cyberdefense in strategic and executive-level discussions.
- Shape and influence cybersecurity transformation programs across enterprise and OT / ICS environments.
- Own the end-to-end delivery of projects from scoping through to presentation of findings and transition to delivery teams.
- Deliver architectural design guidance for IT and OT environments, covering areas such as network security, IAM, SIEM / SOAR, endpoint protection, and cloud security.
- Contribute to proposal writing and bid responses, ensuring technical quality and alignment with client goals.
- Mentor junior consultants and support the capability development of the Advisory Services team.

5+ years of experience in cybersecurity consulting or a senior cybersecurity role within the Energy, Utilities, Manufacturing or Industrial Technology sectors.Proven ability to operate independently, lead projects, and present to stakeholders.Demonstrable passion for knowledge development with a continuous learning mindset.A proactive, "can-do" approach to addressing complex and often ambiguous client challenges.Excellent presentation and communication skills — in both delivery and content.Hands-on experience with frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, NIS / NIS2, CIS, and IEC 62443.Strong understanding of security domains including risk management, governance, architecture, and OT security.Familiarity with cybersecurity solution design, architecture frameworks (TOGAF, SABSA), and secure implementation.Desirable Skills & Experience
Familiarity with OT security technologies (e.g., Dragos, Claroty, Nozomi, Tenable.OT).Knowledge of and experience with incident response procedures in OT environmentsExperience of secure software development lifecycles (SSDLC) in industrial contexts.What you can expect of us
