IT Desktop Support Technician needed at local school for minimum 4 weeks, potential for longer!
Hourly rate £ 10 – £ 12 per hour on PAYE (Immediate Start Available)
Hours – 8am – 4 : 30pm with an hour unpaid lunch (37.5 hours per week)
Location – Near Ashton-Under-Lyne
Reporting to the School’s IT Manager, as the IT Desktop Support Engineer you will be involved with upgrades on over 550 PC’s and general day to day IT Support within the school, It is essential you hold a valid DBS.
IT Desktop Support Technician – Desirable Skills :
Good knowledge of desktop technologies for Windows 7 through to Windows 10 support1st and 2nd Line Microsoft Office 2010 / 2013 / 2016 / Office365Maintenance and troubleshooting of printersGood communication skills – written and verbalAbility to work as part of a teamAbility to diagnose faults and find solutions.Ability to maintain strong relationship with customersAble to follow agreed procedures and documentationUser administration of Microsoft Server 2008 / 2012 / 2016User administration of Exchange 2010 / 2013 / 2016 / Office365A base understanding of networking protocols and devices
