Job description
A specialist SEN school in Newham is looking for a passionate SEN Teacher to teach a KS2 class of pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and associated communication needs.
The role :
Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons
Use visual timetables, PECS and Makaton to support communication
Collaborate with therapists and support staff to meet EHCP targets
Requirements :
QTS (specialist SEN training an advantage)
Understanding of autism and sensory needs
Patient, nurturing approach with strong communication skills
