Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description

A Bristol based Next Gen Avionics client has an OUTSIDE IR35 contract opportunity to support with the manufacturing and build of their next aircraft. The position involves :

• Working on fixture design - can use SolidWorks.
• Specifically holding assemblies and fixtures.
• Guiding products from the prototype stage to full-scale production (NPI).
• Production work downstream.
• Product work instructions.
• Observing builds and documenting, communicating, and chasing resolutions of lessons learnt.

Examples of tasks include becoming more hands-on with the build process and being the main point of contact for Manufacturing Engineering in the assembly of Beta. This will involve the following :
