Location : Royal Berkshire Hospital, London Road, Reading RG1 5AN

Shift Pattern : Mon-Fri 8am-4pm or 10am-6pm

Pay Rate : £ 12.21 an hour + Escalated rates over the weekend.

Job Duties

• Preparing and cooking patient / restaurant meals in our modern well-equipped kitchen.
• Provide information on food service, matters including recipes and wastage information.
• Planning meals and menus
• Lifting and storing of heavy provisions.
• Keep up to date with departmental COSHH manual and PPE requirement for each food preparation and cleaning task
• Storing food correctly
• Take responsibility for maintaining high standards of cleanliness within the department, including personal hygiene.
