Zone Leader

Blue Arrow is currently recruiting for an experienced Zone Leader to join our clients team based in the Port Talbot Area.

This an exciting opportunity to join an Internationally recognised Manufacturer in the Nutritional Supplement Industry.

Salary : Negotiable (Basic + Shift Allowance)

Hours of work : Full Time : 2 shift pattern 6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm rotating. The occasional night shift may be required so flexibility is desirable.

Role Summary : As a Zone Leader role within the company, the Zone Leader is responsible for ensuring that the departmental team have the skills / 'tools for the job' by driving area / line operations within a specific area. From coaching of staff to developing best practise and ensuring Quality Right first time approach. The Zone Leader provides a consistent framework to developing Standards / Teamwork for people / process ensuring Health and Safety awareness / compliance

Role Details : Health & Safety

• Overall Management responsibilities for Health & Safety in their designated areas
• Ensure risk assessments are available for all operations and are reviewed appropriately.
• Ensure operators are working in a risk free environment wearing the correct PPE
• Ensure the operators are compliant in company H&S requirements
• Ensure that all paperwork is correctly filled out in a timely manner
