About the Role

We are seeking reliable and adaptable Supply Teachers and Cover Supervisors to join our team to provide high-quality classroom cover across schools in Birmingham. This role involves supervising classes during teacher absence, delivering pre-prepared lessons, and ensuring a positive learning environment is maintained.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver pre-set work to classes in the absence of the class teacher.

Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.

Support students in their learning, ensuring engagement and participation.

Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and school procedures at all times.

Communicate effectively with staff and contribute to the smooth running of the school day.

Requirements

All applicants must meet the statutory compliance requirements to work in UK schools, including :

Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

Right to Work in the UK – valid passport, visa, or other documentation.

Two professional references covering the last 2 years (one from your most recent role in education).

Proof of Address (within the last 3 months).
