As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, engaging, and closing new business opportunities, managing the entire sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and Hunt for New Business : Develop and execute strategies to identify and secure new clients within the Local Government sector.
  • Manage the Full Sales Cycle : Own the process from initial lead generation to finalising the deal, ensuring a seamless journey for the client.
  • Develop Strategic Relationships : Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders within Local Government entities.
  • Understand Client Needs : Act as a trusted advisor, demonstrating a deep understanding of the challenges and objectives specific to the Local Government space.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally : Work closely with technical, delivery, and customer success teams to align solutions with client needs.
  • Achieve and Exceed Targets : Consistently meet or exceed revenue and sales objectives.
  • Maintain Market Insight : Stay updated on industry trends, challenges, and opportunities to ensure the organisation's solutions remain relevant and competitive.
