What we are seeking…
We’re looking for a Senior Communications Consultant with a pensions technical or compliance background to join us.
You’ll be someone who has worked in a specialised DB and DC pensions technical role so far, but wants to expand their existing skills into communications and engagement, helping us to communicate pensions information accurately to members in a language that they will understand.
What you’ll be doing :
Supporting our clients and their members through the delivery of communication and engagement projects is an important part of the role, but inspiring, educating and supporting your colleagues and clients in relation to pensions legislation and regulations is just as important.
For us, a successful candidate will be :
- A relationship builder – able to listen actively and interpret the needs of clients or colleagues to help build long-term relationships
- An influencer – able to inspire, teach and coach others whether this is through client presentations or pensions technical training for colleagues
- Curious and ‘can do’ – you’ll want to dig deeper, ask questions, investigate and find out more to better understand the client, member, process or project. You’ll always be looking to improve what we do and how we do it. You’ll also want to step up, try new things or learn how to do something you’ve not done before
- A strategic friend – you’ll bring warmth, empathy and humour to your role for clients and colleagues as well as being able to instil confidence in clients that you are on their side and will get the job done
- Passionate – you’ll naturally be passionate about the role that pensions legislation, regulations and compliance play and will want to coach, mentor and develop others to increase their knowledge and confidence in this area
- An organiser – you’ll be highly organised, an excellent planner and pay close attention to detail
- A problem solver – like to find effective and pragmatic solutions to problems and anticipate issues before they happen and take corrective action
- A multi-tasker – you can juggle competing priorities, workloads and clients, whilst reassuring and supporting your colleagues and clients
