Senior Site Engineer

Ivy Resource Group are seeking an experienced and well-organised Senior Site Engineer with strong leadership skills to join our client's West Midlands regional construction site engineering team.

This is a site-based role with overall responsibility for controlling the site engineering and technical aspects of construction works, whilst implementing a strict regime for quality control. Duties will also include supporting the management of health and safety and environmental control of site operations.

What you will be doing

Ensuring that project works comply with contract specifications and drawings, and maintaining appropriate records to confirm compliance.

Building and maintaining excellent working relationships with clients and their representatives / advisors.

Implementing company strategies and policies on Sustainability, Health & Safety, Quality, Environmental, Training & Development.

Acting as a role model for company culture and values.

Applying the Company's Business Management System.

Proactively identifying and resolving problems on site.

Supporting initiatives to drive continuous improvement.

Line management responsibilities, including annual appraisals and development for junior staff.

Carrying out any other duties relevant to the role.
