Brake Press Operator – Dorking

We are looking for an experienced Brake Press Operator to join a well-established engineering business based in Dorking.

Salary & Benefits :

Up to £14.84 per hour base rate

With 20% shift allowance : £17.81 per hour

Equivalent to an annual salary of around £37,040 (based on 40 hours per week)

Profit Related Bonus Scheme (based on 5% of basic salary)

Working Hours :

Permanent role, 40 hours per week

Rotating shifts, Monday to Friday

Early shift : 5.45am – 1.45pm

Late shift : 2.15pm – 10.15pm

Alternating weekly (one week early, one week late)

Paid 30-minute break each day

The Role :

Setting and operating brake press machinery to produce components to a high standard.

Reading and working from technical drawings.

Performing regular quality checks to ensure accuracy.

Following health & safety procedures at all times.

The Candidate :

Previous experience operating brake press machinery in an engineering or manufacturing environment.

Ability to interpret engineering drawings.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Reliable and flexible with a good work ethic.

MUST be able to get to Dorking as public transport doesn't work around the shifts Location : Dorking
