PSV – HGV Mechanic - Fitter – Permanent Position

Location : Mansfield

Salary :

  • Basic : £34,000 per annum
  • Overtime Rate : £18.88 per hour

About the Role :

Venatu Recruitment Group is partnering with our client in the Mansfield area to recruit a permanent PSV Mechanic / Fitter. We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Shift Fitter to join our client in Mansfield.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a modern and varied fleet of vehicles, ensuring passengers travel safely and comfortably every day.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Routine maintenance and repair of PSV vehicles
  • Diagnosing faults and carrying out necessary repairs
  • Working in both a depot environment and responding to breakdowns on the road
  • Ensuring high standards of engineering maintenance
  • Supporting the transition to hybrid and electric vehicle technologies

    • Shift Pattern :

  • Guaranteed 38 hours per week
  • Working Monday to Friday
  • Various start times

    • What We’re Looking For :

  • Experience in vehicle maintenance (bus, HGV / LGV, truck, automotive, plant, rail, or farm machinery)
  • Ideally qualified to one of the following :
  • PCV or HGV City & Guilds
  • BTEC
  • NVQ Level 3 Engineering in HGV or PSV
  • Time Served
