Overview
Mercure Bridgwater is a stylish 4-star hotel in the heart of the town centre, featuring 119 contemporary bedrooms. Home to Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill, the hotel serves breakfast, lunch and dinner to high standards.
We’re looking for a passionate Commis Chef to join our kitchen team at Mercure Bridgwater, with a focus on the Steakhouse. Working under the guidance of our Head Chef, you’ll help produce dishes across the hotel and deliver beautifully presented plates to create memorable dining experiences for our guests.
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays) with the added bonus of no split shifts.
If you have previous experience in a similar role, that’s great, but it’s not essential — full training and support will be given. We’re looking for someone with a real passion for food, attention to detail, and the drive to consistently deliver the highest standards.
