Pay Rate : £31,650 - £49,084 Annually (MPS / UPS) (depending on experience)

Start Date : January 2026 / Immediate

Contract Type : Permanent / full time

Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher with experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs?

GSL Education are looking for committed SEN Teachers to join schools across Weymouth .

As an SEN Teacher , you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and adapting lessons to meet the diverse needs of pupils with SEND. Working closely with support staff and parents, you will create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that nurtures pupils academically, socially, and emotionally.

Responsibilities of an SEN Teacher :

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
• Support pupils with a range of SEND, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, and moderate learning difficulties.
• Adapt teaching strategies and resources to support accessibility and progression.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and support staff.
• Track pupil progress and provide constructive feedback to pupils and parents.
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
• Contribute to the development of personalised learning plans and EHCPs.
• Engage in whole-school activities and contribute to the wider school community.
