About the role
With an over 100-strong Marketing team, we keep it all in house. From working with 30 global car brands to promoting exciting employee initiatives - we do it all in this department. You'll gain experience fast, working on national campaigns that are seen by millions of people every year.
As our new Graphic Designer, you'll be bursting with fresh ideas and creative flair, with the ability to apply your skills and deliver on a variety of exciting and challenging briefs. You won't shy away from a tight deadline, and you'll relish the chance to use feedback and user testing to iterate and improve.
Combined with a strong portfolio that demonstrates previous successes, you'll love staying up to date with the latest trends and technologies and demonstrate true passion for your work. You'll be taking projects from ideas on paper through to planning and design - so it's vital that you're able to communicate well and be confident in managing your own workload.
Day-to-day dutiesDesigning marketing campaign material, annual reports, press adverts, vehicle graphics, display advertising and loads of other top-secret stuff we have planned.Pitching concepts with a willingness to invest the time and iterations necessary to fully meet the brief.Collaborating closely with other designers, executives, videographers, photographers, and copywriters to bring creative ideas to life.Working to tight deadlines, without losing that all-important attention to detail.No two days are the same - you'll embrace new challenges and create design solutions that will solve real business problems.
Essential skills and experienceExcellent design skills and creative flairStrong design experience working in Creative Suite, with extensive expertise in InDesign, Illustrator, and PhotoshopDemonstrable attention to detail and strategic thinking across all customer touchpointsA dynamic style that translates effectively across both print and digital mediaExcellent communication skillsA proactive attitude, with the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a fast-paced teamEnjoy staying up to date with the latest design and technology trendsA strong portfolio that demonstrates previous successes
