VAT Manager - Big 4 Firm

You'll be a VAT Manager working directly with the VAT Partners and Directors, you'll contribute to providing excellent client service and technical VAT advice for our clients

As a manager, you'll have the ability and motivation needed to :

• Manage a client portfolio with higher level of client responsibility
• Provide high quality VAT consultancy services to our clients
• Ad hoc duties supporting the local partners as necessary

Key accountabilities

The Manager must be able to demonstrate varied VAT experience, either within Accountancy firms, industry or HMRC

They should be largely self-sufficient with little input from more senior staff, take responsibility for proactive management of clients and work; take ownership of own portfolio and deal with more complex or higher risk clients; and be able to work both autonomously and as part of a team
