Dairy Farm Manager

An opportunity has arisen for the recruitment of a Dairy Farm Manager on a family run enterprise.

Farm information :

• Located South Fermanagh on the Monaghan border
• 190 cow Dairy Herd with followers
• Milking twice a day in a 20 / 40 Modern Dairymaster Milking Parlour
• Grazed day and night from April until November weather permitting
• Calving ¼ November / December and ¾ January – March
• All Dairy heifer calves reared right through
• Continental calves reared to approximately 4 weeks and sold
• General livestock management including feeding, daily health checks, calving, antibiotic and vaccine administration
• General yard work including cubicle cleaning and bedding
• Keeping farm records
• Fertility management – Heat detections and Ai (not essential)
• Calf rearing
