We are seeking a HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist to join our Histology Team in Manchester. This full-time, ongoing position requires proficiency in microtomy, including cutting at least 150 blocks in a 7.5-hour shift.

Responsibilities

  • Perform precise microtomy, cutting at least 150 blocks per 7.5-hour shift.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in the lab.
  • Participate actively in the daily operations of the Histology Team, contributing to the preparation and analysis of tissue samples.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to maintain the highest quality of laboratory services.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and suggesting enhancements to lab processes.
