As part of NauitIQ Solutions team, they will be focusing on delivering electrical, automation and autonomy products to our Naval and Commercial Marine customers. The business is based organised as two Product Centres in Bristol and Heybridge with shared support resources provided from our teams in East Grinstead; we operate an integrated programme delivery team across the Bristol and Heybridge sites.\n\nWe're at the forefront of innovation and experience in the marine sector from standalone products to complex integrated systems.

Hybrid working is a way in which our people can balance their time between the office, home, or another remote location. It's a locally managed and flexed informal discretionary arrangement. As a minimum we're all expected to attend the workplace for collaboration and other specific reasons, a minimum of three days per week.\n\nWhat you will be doing\n\nAs Programme Lead you will be taking responsibility for the delivery of small projects or workstreams within larger projects that supports the delivery of the organisation's strategic objectives; you will : \nBe accountable for the successful delivery to cost, specification and time for a defined package of work.Define and phase programme tranches (projects and other related work) to achieve programme benefits.Establish, develop, and maintain the documentation necessary to deliver the package of work.Act as the focal point for all aspects related to the packages of work.Provide information necessary to make management decisions to the key stakeholders.Ensure the creation and management of an integrated set of plans / schedules.Organise and chair schedule review meetings and report areas where executive decisions need to be made.\nWho we're looking for\n\nAt Rolls-Royce we embrace agility, are bold, pursue collaboration and seek simplicity in everything we do.

Specifically, a Programme Lead must : \nHold a degree level qualification or equivalent industry experience.Member of a professional body and working towards an APMPQ qualification or equivalent.At least 5 years' experience in project management.Possess excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex information with individuals at all levels within the organisation and influence behaviour.Be proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.\nIt would be advantageous if you : \nHave experience in all stages of a programme lifecycle and has been responsible for the delivery of one or more of those stages.Have exposure to non-core programme management roles such as purchasing, commercial, engineering management etc.Comfortable with dealing with ambiguity and complex environments.\nWe are an equal opportunities employer.
