Engineering Operative

ENGINEERING OPERATIVENOTTINGHAMTEMPORARY TO PERMANENT TRAINING ON DAYS AND MOVING ONTO LATES £12.50PH Engineering Operative required immediately for a company based in Nottingham. The role will involve using a wide range of hand and power tools and being trained on their machinery. The shifts will began as 7 : 30am – 5 : 00pm Monday – Friday whilst training is being completed, then this will change to 12 : 30pm – 10 : 00pm Monday – Friday.The role will involve :

• Assembling brackets and mechanical parts
• Using a variety of hand and power tools
• Being trained to use manufacturing machinery
• Working from drawings and instructions The successful candidate will have the following attributes :
• Skilled engineering operative
• Competent using a variety of hand and power tools
• Experience operating machinery such as band saws, pillar drills and linishers
• Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment
• Able to follow instructions and diagrams
