Position Description :
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for patient
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Collaborate with the medical team to ensure the delivery of comprehensive healthcare
Diagnose and treat acute health problems, such as infections and minor injuries
Participate in health promotion and education initiatives
Order, perform and interpret specific diagnostic tests
Ensure adequate supplies are on hand or appropriately stored at all times
Assist GPs with minor procedures
Provide safe and effective administration of vaccines
Input, maintain and provide relevant records of immunisation / vaccinations
Provide advice and education to families and patients
Qualifications & Experience :
Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Previous experience in general practice or similar healthcare setting is desirable
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Australian work rights
Current Criminal Record Check (or willing to undertake)
Excellent organisational skills
Ability to work well independently or in a team
Commitment to quality patient care
