About the role

Location :  Suez, Walsall Waste Recycling Centre, Middlemore Lane, Aldridge, WS9 8EE

• Salary of  £12.31 per Hour.
• This is a part-time permanent role working Saturday & Sunday- Working hours are 08 : 30 - 17 : 30.
• Option for Overtime

What will I be doing?

We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Shop Operatives to join our team at Middlemore Lane Re-Use Shop. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a customer-focused environment and can be flexible with working hours, including weekdays and weekends.

As a shop operative you will be in charge of the daily running of our re-use shop, based at Middlemore Lane HWRC, liaising with the re-use hub manager to make sure the shop is fully stocked and that everything is properly stored or made ready for sale.

This will involve you :

You'll be expected to promote the values of the shop and the charitable nature of the re-use scheme in Walsall, at the same time as providing excellent customer experience to encourage repeat custom and the smooth and profitable running of the shop.

What are the requirements?

You will be passionate about the environment and in particular this re-use project, with prior retail experience and a real enthusiasm for providing excellent customer service.

Either you will have knowledge of recycling and upcycling, or willing to rapidly develop it, but you should have an understanding of maintaining stock, merchandising and the ability to handle financial aspects of retail, along with :
