Here's your chance to have a serious impact on the local landscape and work with a quality product.Working closely with the Engineering Manager, a typical day for you will include; Preparing constraints plans to be used as a guide for new developments proposals Assisting in the discharge of engineering related planning conditions Procuring service records and utilities enquiries for new developments Maintaining a continuous process of evaluation of consultant’s designs to ensure that proposals adhere to best practice in value engineering Undertaking site walkovers Appoint consultants and identify the scopes of work in line with programmes and budgets set by the business Attend project team meetings as engineering representative Arrange and review topographical surveys, geotechnical surveys (Phase I and II), flood risk assessments, transports surveys, etc. Appraise and comment on sites in regard to levels, earthworks and potential substructure solutions Liaise with utility companies in regard to existing utilities, new supplies, reinforcement and diversions Liaise with the local highway authorities and flood...
