Overview
Dudley Academies Trust are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Technical Project Manager to join our Central Trust team as a technical lead. The post holder will provide technical, operational, and project management support, offering guidance and supervision to IT and other staff across the Trust to ensure the effective day-to-day delivery of IT services for all users.
Responsibilities
Background / Context
Dudley Academies Trust inherited a code managed service arrangement with Dudley Grid for Learning and RM to provide all IT services to its schools. During the summer of 2025 the Trust migrated all services away from the DGFL arrangement and now fully manages all IT services in-house, alongside colleagues in the central team. This migration provides benefits such as seamless movement between sites, improved resilience, cloud access to files and resources, and enhanced use of Office 365, SharePoint-based intranet, and other benefits.

Backed by over £500k investment into replacement hardware, this transition sets strong foundations for future growth of our IT offering and cost savings. The Trust aims to grow the in-house team with the addition of new roles, including the IT Technical Project Manager.
