Job Title : Mechanical Supervisor (QA / QC)

Location : Aldermaston (AWE Site – No Security Clearance Required)

Start Date : October 2025

Duration : 18 Months

Rate : £325 per day

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to oversee works on a new build facility at the AWE site in Aldermaston. The project is located just outside the secure area, so no SC clearance is required, but all candidates must complete a DBS check and Balfour Beatty People check.

You will be responsible for :

Supervising mechanical trades on site (Plumbers / Pipefitters)

Ensuring works are delivered to programme, specification, and quality standards

Coordinating day-to-day site activities, permits, and H&S compliance

Managing and maintaining QA / QC documentation

Liaising with the site management team and client representatives

Reporting progress and resolving on-site issues

Requirements

Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor on commercial / industrial projects

Strong knowledge of press-fit copper and HDPE / PVC drainage systems

Experience managing QA / QC processes and documentation

Good leadership and organisational skills

Valid CSCS / Supervisor card

Must be able to pass a DBS check and Balfour Beatty People check
