Primary Teaching Assistant

Aspire People are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Primary School Teaching Assistants to join our partner schools across Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about supporting children's learning and development in a classroom environment.

Role Responsibilities :

Provide support to class teachers in delivering engaging lessons.

Work with small groups or individual pupils to reinforce learning.

Assist in the preparation of teaching materials and classroom resources.

Support pupils with additional needs to ensure inclusive learning.

Help create a safe, positive, and stimulating learning environment.

Monitor and record pupil progress, reporting to the class teacher.

Requirements :

Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary setting (desirable).

A patient, caring, and supportive approach to working with children.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 / 3 Teaching Assistant, CACHE, or equivalent) are advantageous.

An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one.
