Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant who will have previous experience working with pupils with SEND. The successful candidate will be required to work for 30 hours per week, term time plus 2 INSET days and fixed term until August 2026. All Teaching Assistants will be flexible to work across all year groups as needed, including EYFS.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to pupils with SEND and contribute to an inclusive learning environment.
• Work across all year groups as required, including Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Assist with planning, differentiation and assessment under the guidance of teaching staff where appropriate.
• Support the well-being and safety of pupils in line with safeguarding policies.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Experience working with pupils with SEND.
• Willingness to be flexible across year groups.
• Commitment to safeguarding children and the ability to undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and be assessed against the Childcare Disqualification Regulations.
