Overview
We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join our busy and growing organisation. The successful candidate will be based at our Telford site and will be responsible for supporting and maintaining Quality Processes and procedures for Whittan Telford.

Key Responsibilities
Internal Auditing of all areasCustomer Focused / resolving customer Issues.Quality Inspections / Ensure product conformity.Oversee Documentation control - company form registerRaising of NCRs / Corrective ActionsSupport Continual Improvement InitiativesTraining of key processes to shop floor personnel.Monitoring / upkeep of Process BoardsCalibration & Issue of all measuring equipmentCollection of Scrap data to drive cost down focus.Writing of New procedures8d and problem-solving analysis.Qualifications / Knowledge & Experience
Working Knowledge of ISO StandardsExperience in engineering & manufacturing processesMeth odical & very organizedGood in both written & oral skills to deliver reports to the business & customers.Ability to work on own initiative & train others.Able to work under pressure.Manage & influence others to achieve key objectives.Knowledge of Internal AuditingBe able to review and flow chart a process.Understanding of measuring equipmentUnderstanding of engineering drawingsWork with suppliers to ensure specifications are met - Steel, Chemical etcComputer Literate, knowledge of SAP preferableCompany Benefits
