Job description

Software Engineer .NET (Senior / Principal level)

£60,000 – £85,000

Remote (UK)

Are you passionate about writing clean, scalable code and ready to shape a platform used by merchants across the globe?

We're working with a fast-growing global payment processing platform that’s scaling rapidly after a major acquisition. They are building a high-performance, merchant-first ecosystem that prioritises quality, resilience, and scalability - and they are searching for .Net Software Engineers to join them on their growth journey.

What You’ll Do :

  • Architect and build core platform services, APIs, and portals that deliver real business impact.
  • Elevate performance and reliability using smart, efficient engineering.
  • Instill best practices in system design, quality, and delivery.
  • Collaborate across engineering, product, and architecture teams to solve real problems the right way.

Technologies :

  • Languages & Frameworks : C#, .NET Core
  • Architecture : Event-driven, service-oriented
  • Cloud & Infrastructure : Azure (or AWS), Infrastructure-as-Code
  • Data & Integration : SQL, caching, message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ)
  • Front-End : HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Engineering Practices : CI / CD, Behaviour-Driven Development, modern agile workflows

    • Who We’re Looking For :

  • Senior Engineers : 5+ years building enterprise-grade systems; strong with OO design, SOLID principles, refactoring, and integrations.
  • Principals : 10+ years of hands-on coding and architectural leadership; adept at influencing technical direction and guiding complex systems.
