We’re looking for a skilled and dependable HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, or Commercial Vehicle Technician to join a well-established team in Gloucester. This is a permanent Monday to Friday position working in a fully equipped and professional workshop, maintaining a modern HGV fleet to high standards.

Key Responsibilities of a HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Commercial Vehicle Technician

Service, maintain and repair HGVs to DVSA standards

Diagnose and resolve faults quickly and accurately

Follow all health and safety procedures within the workshop

Keep work areas clean, organised and compliant

Support workshop productivity and assist team members where required

Skills and Qualifications for a HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Commercial Vehicle Technician

Essential

Proven experience as an HGV Technician or HGV Mechanic

Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Desirable

Full UK driving licence

Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance

Experience using vehicle diagnostic systems
