To inspect, repair and maintain the municipal fleet assets operated by the Client to the standard required by the relevant statutory and regulatory bodies
To provide professional advice and guidance to the service users on municipal vehicle maintenance and repair.
To carry out manual and physically demanding work associated with the repair and maintenance of a municipal fleet
Ensure the Health & Safety of all resources within the post holders area of responsibility
Maintain awareness of policies and procedures which impact on how the service is delivered.
Prepare and present detailed results from complex diagnosis equipment
Continuously review and evaluate service provision to ensure it is fit for purpose, drives continuous improvement and is effectively using available resources
Contribute to policy development.
Liaise, negotiate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including senior managers, employees and members of the public.
Any other duties commensurate with the grade and falling within the scope of the post, as requested by management.
This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis.
