Job descriptionFreight Forwarding company based in Felixstowe, are looking for an experienced Freight Forwarder to join their team.The role will cover both Imports and Exports Operations. The company operates freight via Sea, Air and Ocean, so experience in all of these would be beneficial, however some training can be provided in Road and Air Freight.Duties would involve; Customer service - being the first point of call for both new and existing customers, updating them on shipments and dealing with any queries. Taking bookings, entering details onto in-house system. Providing customers with quotations and rates for shipments Organising freight, completing all relevant paper work / documentation for multi modal freight Organising customs entries Organising final delivery of freight, invoicing and closing jobsThe ideal applicant; At least 2 - 3 years experience within the shipping / freight industry Experience within either Imports / Exports Experience with either, sea, air or Road Freight Good Customer service skills Attention to detailWhats on offer : A competitive salary Cycle to work scheme Free Parking Performance related bonus scheme
