We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join a well-established primary school, part of a successful academy trust in Chesterfield. About the Year 1 Teacher Role

Start date : November 2025

Fixed-term contract until the end of the academic year (July 2026)

Full-time teaching position in Year 1

What were looking for in a Year 1 Teacher :

A qualified teacher (QTS essential)

Experience in teaching KS1 (Experience in Year 1 desirable)

A passion for inspiring and engaging young learners

Strong classroom management and a commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment

Dedication to supporting the progress, wellbeing, and personal development of every child

A team player with excellent communication skills and a positive, proactive approach
