Overview
As a Deputy Home Manager, you'll ensure the level of care we offer goes beyond professional standards and regulatory requirements. This means taking responsibility for resident care in the Home Manager's absence and supervising / coaching colleagues to provide a service that's compassionate and attentive to resident issues.
HC-One is looking for a Deputy Home Manager with knowledge of National Standards and a background in person-led care planning within a care home. Beyond that, it's about your positive energy and your natural ability to get along with people. You'll be a great mentor who can manage time effectively and keep meaningful records. When communicating with residents or co-workers, you’ll be considerate and kind.
You’ll value kindness above all, because it drives every aspect of our Dementia, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Our residents are people with their own stories, and by joining HC-One you’ll have a wonderful opportunity to support them.
About HC-One : kindness is more than a word. It is a belief that caring for people means caring about what matters most to them so they can lead their best possible life. We emphasise five qualities—the HC-One Way : Kindness, Curiosity, Compassion, Creativity paired with practicality, Courage, and Inclusivity. We are committed to developing people through robust career pathways, CPD and postgraduate programmes, and opportunities to progress into regional and national roles. We invest in you with opportunities to grow within HC-One.
