Manufacturing Controller

Overview :

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Manufacturing Controller to support inventory and production operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role involves managing stores, issuing tooling, kitting, and loading work packages to meet production schedules.

Key Responsibilities :

Stock control and shelf-life management

Kitting and packing (including use of hand tools)

Loading / unloading of goods and manufacturing cells

Tooling issue and receipt

Updating inventory records and systems

Supporting delivery schedules and manufacturing programmes

Essential Skills & Experience :

Previous experience in a manufacturing stores or inventory control role

Ability to follow instructions and work independently

Flexible approach to shift patterns

Manual handling, lifting & slinging (including overhead cranes)

ESD awareness

Desirable :

PC skills including Excel

Forklift licence

Familiarity with Kanban / 2-bin systems

Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP)
