With September on the horizon, this is a great opportunity for us to showcase your abilities to local Primary schools. As one of our valued Teaching Assistants, you will play a key role in the maintenance and management of the classroom.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with pupils on a 1 : 1 basis, as well as assist in a more general capacity.

CONTRACT / POSITION DETAILS

Location : Bristol

Position : Teaching Assistant

Type of work : Carry out professional duties, support groups and 1 : 1 pupils, ensure the safety and welfare of pupils, support class teacher in delivering lessons, small group work, reading, forest school opportunities

Start Date : September – ongoing assignments

Rate of pay : £105 – £130

Hours : 08 : 30 – 16 : 00

EXPERIENCE

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification (not essential)
• Experience working in Primary Schools
• Experience of inclusive classroom practice
• Understanding of supporting SEND requirements
• Experience supporting learning using various strategies, both in groups and on a 1 : 1 basis
• Driving license (not essential)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST :

Hold the right to work in the UK

Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application

Provide two professional child-related references
