Accounts Assistant - Haydock - Permanent - Up to £28k (DOE)

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation who are going through an impressive period of growth. They are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations for 3 businesses within the group. Working alongside the Head of Finance and another Accounts Assistant, duties will include :

• Matching, coding and processing purchase invoices onto Xero and a bespoke accounting system (300-500 monthly)
• Ensuring that supplier invoices are uploaded in an accurate and timely manner in preparation for month end
• Reconciling supplier statements and assisting with supplier payment runs
• Completing daily bank reconciliations and allocating payments on the ledger
• Credit control - ensuring the debtor ledger is up to date and flagging any potential bad debt risks
• Managing a ledger of £500k value and 100's of live accounts
