Job Description
As a Process Engineer, you will play a vital role in developing and optimising manufacturing processes for high-precision microelectronic products. This varied position offers exposure to the entire product lifecycle—from new product introduction (NPI) to supporting volume production. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless process transitions, troubleshoot issues, and drive performance improvements across the shop floor.
Responsibilities
Providing day-to-day engineering support to production operationsTroubleshooting and resolving equipment and process-related issuesCommissioning and qualifying new manufacturing equipmentCreating and maintaining technical documentation such as SOPs, PFMEAs, and inspection standardsSupporting the transition of products from NPI to full-scale productionIdentifying and implementing opportunities for yield improvement and efficiency gainsLiaising with customers and suppliers, which may include occasional travel abroadPromoting a safety-first culture and ensuring compliance with HSE regulationsSkills & Experience
Essential :
Degree / HNC in Engineering or relevant equivalent experienceStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsExperience with Lean principles, 8D, and Design of ExperimentsConfident communicator with excellent interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and deliver to strict deadlinesCompetent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Desirable :
Familiarity with electronics and mechanical CAD toolsExperience with chip and wire assembly, hybrid circuits, or high-reliability environments (e.g. MIL standards)Understanding of lean manufacturing tools and statistical process controlsWhy Should You Apply?
