Junior to Lead DevOps Engineers

A primary technical partner of the MOD are looking to adda number of engineers to their DevOps team, the role is driving technical delivery of the CI / CD pipelines and integrated security tooling, ensuring these are delivered and utilised in the most effective way.

Your role will involve :

• Developing CI / CD Pipelines, Ansible Scripts, Terraform and generally automating the build and deployment of software and infrastructure components, using modern tools and DevSecOps best practices.
• Responsible for small aspects of the technical implementation, delivery and assurance of the DevOps / DevSecOps tooling, associated processed and ways of working.
• Contributing to the Technical Implementation and design activities, supporting making Design decisions and assessing options.
• Advising on use of technologies and processes, to end users.
• Works within a SCRUM team to support, define / prioritise work and raise Risks / Dependencies.
• Ensures the implementation satisfies its requirements and ensuring it aligns to the Business Outcomes and security needs.
• Contribution to Planning the work for the team.
