Are you an experienced Learning Support Assistant seeking a rewarding, long-term role in a vibrant Camden secondary school? We're looking for a compassionate and proactive Learning Support Assistant to provide dedicated 1 : 1 support to a student with Down's Syndrome. This is a full-time role within a 'Good' graded secondary school known for its inclusive ethos and exceptional SEN provision. You’ll play a key role in a student’s academic, emotional, and personal development, including assistance with personal care.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated 1 : 1 support to a student with Down's Syndrome
• Support academic progress and encourage active engagement in lessons
• Assist with personal care and promote independence and self-esteem
• Collaborate with SENCOs, teachers, and parents to implement tailored strategies
• Ensure consistent emotional and physical support throughout the school day
