Location : Gateshead

Salary : £35,000-£45,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Sales Development Representative

to take ownership of a high-performing market segment and lead both account management and new business development initiatives.

This is a pivotal role with significant growth potential. Youll be responsible for nurturing existing client relationships while identifying and onboarding new opportunities within the power and energy sector, including power stations and related infrastructure.

What Youll Be Doing

Manage and grow a profitable sector within the business

Develop relationships with existing clients and re-engage dormant accounts

Generate new business through proactive outreach and strategic sales activity

Prepare quotations, tenders, and negotiate contracts

Deliver client presentations and manage sales pipelines

Oversee project delivery, ensuring quality and compliance with specifications

Collaborate with internal teams across sales, logistics, and commercial functions

Expedite orders both domestically and internationally

Willingness to travel across the UK, Europe, and internationally

Skills & Experience

Confident communicator, both in person and over the phone

Strong written communication and numeracy skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Organised and proactive with excellent time management

Experience in sales, account management, or business development is a plus
