Multiskilled Engineer – FMCG Manufacturing

Location : Thetford | Salary : £51,250 per annum

Shift : 4 on / 4 off (05 : 00–15 : 00 & 16 : 30–00 : 30)

We are working with a leading FMCG manufacturing site to recruit a Multiskilled Engineer. You will join a hands-on Engineering team, ensuring equipment availability, responding to breakdowns, and driving productivity across the factory.

Key Responsibilities :

Record all maintenance jobs on the CMMS system.
Report directly to the Team Leader.
Carry out daily mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks.
Undertake reactive maintenance (approx. 80%) and planned maintenance (approx. 20%).

Qualifications & Experience :

Minimum NVQ Level 3 in mechanical or electrical discipline.

Electrical experience preferred due to site requirements.

Previous FMCG or manufacturing experience advantageous.

Behaviours & Attitude :

Positive, proactive approach with a strong drive to succeed.

Able to work at pace in a fast-moving environment.

Team player, flexible and adaptable.
