Job Title : Well-being and Activities Coordinator

Location : Bispham Gardens, Blackpool, FY2 0FN

Salary : £12.30 per hour, a wide range of health & wellbeing benefits, employee perks, and the opportunity to develop & progress

Contract : Permanent, Full time, 29.5 hours, alternate weekends

Note : Applicants must hold a full UK driving license and be 25 years or older for insurance purposes

The Opportunity as a Well-Being and Activities Coordinator

This role involves organising, developing and planning programs of activities and events for residents. Ensuring their needs, interests, social, religious and cultural needs are provided for. This role is pivotal in supporting and enabling people to access social networks and maintain their hobbies and interests to the best of their ability, as well as encouraging them to develop new interests. Providing meaningful engagement in a person-centred way, by creating and carrying out activities that promote residents’ physical and mental well-being whilst promoting a diverse and inclusive place to live.

Glenholme Bispham Gardens is located in a peaceful residential area in Blackpool. Our home provides care for mature and older people with varying needs, including dementia, nursing and end-of-life support. We are a 52-bed care home with an additional 24-room expansion opened in 2021. You’ll be part of a compassionate, experienced team who always put residents first.
