They are seeking a Solicitor specialising in Housing Disrepair.

Your Responsibilities :

• Manage a caseload of pre- and post-litigation housing conditions claims for tenants
• Ensure compliance with the Pre-Action Protocol for Housing Disrepair Claims
• Understand relevant legislation, such as the Landlord & Tenant Act
• Draft Letters of Claim
• Gather and assess special damages
• Review housing records to determine liability
• Analyze surveyor’s reports for both Claimant and Defendant
• Negotiate and settle claims
• Liaise with counsel
• Use Proclaim software effectively, adhering to business processes and policies
• Maintain excellent client relationships, prioritising their needs
• Build and sustain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Contribute to high service levels and productivity with partner firms
• Perform additional duties to support business operations

Remuneration & Work Location :

The salary ranges from £40,000 to £70,000 depending on experience. The firm plans to hire two solicitors at different levels. The role requires working in the office for two days a week, with the remainder remote.
